SoCal Detour

The Red Bull Racing marketing team made a detour through SoCal on their way out to California Speedway. Red Bull's North American HQ are just a few blocks off the sunny beaches of Santa Monica, so it wasn't hard to entice the group to go out for some '08 business planning. With access to so many Red Bull athletes at our fingertips, it only makes sense to get BV and AJ mixing it up with other great athletes. This year we paired Vickers and extreme kayaker Tao Berman, and sent AJ out to MotoGP at Laguna Seca. What's in store for next year? Will Vickers snowboard with Shaun White? Will AJ get in Kirby Chambliss' plane? You'll have to wait til '08 to see. For now, here's a pic of Red Bull HQ where the meeting of the minds is going on.

Did someone say Shaun White? Now that would be awesome. Brian could learn to snowboard, and then give Shaun some driving lessons behind the 83 Camry. I see the makings of a cool commercial. I read the Busch preview for Brian. I'm really excited about this weekend. With 46 cars trying to qualify for the Cup race, hopefully both TRB cars will be in.

WE BELIEVE!

That shiny wave in the backround brings back wonderful memories of sushi and an office chair

Brian in a Formula 1 race? Uh, when and how would that happen? They have completely different schedules then NASCAR drivers do.

83givzuwingz, maybe we can get lucky and the 37 not show up. I keep checking the entry list constantly. I'm waiting on it to change. Definitly wouldn't suprise me. Wonder if the 37 team is trying to decide if they wanna give Andretti another shot behind the wheel?

I was reading on Yahoo Sports about Red Bull Racing wanting to give the 83 to Hendrick Motorsports. Please tell me this is a bad rumor?

I am so tried of reading stupid reports about Jr.'s car number. He needs to just take the #81 and stop trying to buy a different number. I really hope this is just a rumor about Red Bull giving up the #83 this would be stupid especially since the number actually means something related to the company.

I'm with you Brian. It will be nice when Hendrick announces what number Jr will drive just to let the topic disappear.

Thank you Brian! I am a Dale Jr fan myself, and am getting tired of the subject. Just pick the number and the sponsor already.
