Hokie Nation for a Day

Back at the Red Bull Racing shop today, many employees participated in the national day of "Hokie Hope" by wearing the Orange and Maroon colors that so distinctly represent Virginia Tech. Everyone took a moment to remember and honor those lost in the unbelievable tragedy that took place earlier in the week. With VT located only a couple of hours from Charlotte, many were personally affected.

NASCAR is paying tribute as well, as all of the race cars in Phoenix are carrying the VT logo on the driver's side B-post through the weekend.

A quote from the VT website:

"We will continue to invent the future through our blood and tears and through all our sadness ... We will prevail ..."
- Nikki Giovanni, University Distinguished Professor, poet, activist

Hopefully everyone is wearing Maroon and Orange today to show support for the fallen students and teachers at Virginia Tech. They are all in my thoughts and prayers daily. We are all Hokies today!
