Fortunately, no Nextel Cup driver has gone faster around Texas Motor Speedway’s 1.5-mile oval than Brian Vickers. At last fall’s race in the No. 25 GMAC Chevrolet, Brian turned a Cup track-record lap (by over 2 mph) at 196.235 mph for his fourth career pole. It was the fastest pole in 2006. Beretta plans to present BV with the honorary pole rifle for his fall feat.

Yes, it would be awesome if "The Sheriff" became the first Toyota driver to get a pole, but I agree with the other person who said that I'll be happy no matter where he starts, if he makes the race (which he will).

To those asking if Brian's primary car is the rebuilt on from Atlanta, it is not. He has a newbie to work with, so we will all find out on Friday how it handles.
Time for my favorite Sheriff to be on the pole in his Toyota! Brian and Doug are a great duo and they will get this new car running perfectly.
this is to the person that has a problem with the hybrid, personally i drive a ford. i paid for it and its mine. know if someone wants to give me a hybrid, i wouldnt turn it down. dont care what brian drives as long as he can drive that racecar.
