Looking Forward to Sunday
Tonight the truck race didn't go exactly as AJ wanted. He did however gain some valuable experience that will hopefully help him in tomorrow's Cup race. AJ ran in the top 10-15 most of the day, and unfortunately was caught up in an accident with only 2 laps to go that led to a 20th place finish.
Friday morning was the first time AJ had ever even seen Martinsville, so to even make the field for the Cup race was a feat in and of itself. The main thing the #84 team needs right now is points... points that will get them closer to the elusive Top 35. If AJ can stay strong out on the track tomorrow, the team should be able to come away with a solid finish.
