The First of Many

It felt like everyone wanted a piece of AJ on Sunday, including media and fans. He was the talk of the town, if you will. NASCAR RaceDay on SPEED requested a pre-race interview with AJ about 30 minutes before the green flag (as shown in the picture being interviewed by Wendy Venturini). He remained calm and took everything in stride - even after the accident with the #21 on lap 150. His crew did an awesome job of working together to get the #84 car back on the track so AJ could log laps and gain experience.

So for AJ, one race down, many more to come!

We are so happy for you AJ - it has to feel really good to be able to get that first one out of the way. Great job by your crew for getting you back out in the race - the more experience you get, the easier it will be to qualify into the races. Go TRB!!!

Hey Red Bull bloggers!! It's AJ's wife Lynne.

I'd like to thank everyone for posting notes on the Red Bull blog, because AJ and I read it every day. It means a lot to AJ to hear what people have to say, and sometimes it gives him that little bit of a boost when times are tough. We know it's going to be a season of ups and downs, but gosh it's nice to have an "up" right now! AJ's working hard and doing everything in his power to do his best, not only for himself but also for all the guys and gals at the Red Bull shop, his crew guys, and for everyone that has believed in him as a NASCAR rookie. So keep those posts coming!! AJ and I love to see them. Hope you enjoy all the cool stuff that Red Bull does.

Lynne
