BV Working on His A-Game

Brian made a visit to Red Bull HQ in Cali last month and challenged some hard core video gamers to a few rounds of Halo2. Big mistake…let’s just say he didn’t fare well in the challenge and got his butt kicked to the curb. His competitors must have been sympathetic because a portable Xbox 360 gaming system arrived at the race shop today with this note:

“Brian - Thanks for coming out to HQ and playing a little Halo2 with us. You seemed like you might have been a little rusty. This should help you out a little as you travel from race to race. Next time you’re in LA – you better bring you’re A-game.”

well brian don't spend too much time on dumb computer games, you need to focus on getting back in the hunt for the top 35

I can't play Halo2 to save my life, but my 11 yr old could probably take on the gamers at the Red Bull HQ just fine.

That's cool. Hope he takes some time to relax between races.

I would think on his salary he might be able to afford one an XBox. I know I still can.

He might try NASCAR 2007 as well.

That is probably the coolest XBox ever. As a fellow unskilled Halo2 player, I know how it feels to be schooled- although if I had a Red Bull 360 I might feel better about it.

Hey Brian- have fun with the xbox and play whatever the heck you want to play. Loved the Red Bull piece that Wendy Venturini did on Race Day on SPEED. It was very entertaining. I love that your team is upbeat and fun! Hang in there! I think that they were right that you guys just need some time. Go team Red Bull!!!!!!!!!!

I see this blog is on the "post encouraging comments or get deleted" tip. Listen, sometimes the sun doesn't shine every day. If saying "Vickers need to be playing Nascar 2007 instead of Halo 2, so it will help his chances of qualifying for a race", get deleted. Then you obviously haven't realized that many drivers such as Dale Jr encourage and promote playing Nascar racing games to improve their "feel" for race day.

Is there a way to banish people who post non stop idiocy such as the poster above this post?

Jason, they use simulators, not Nascar 2007 on the x-box!

Let's just hope it doesn't do the old Xbox360 overheating deal, Brian's had enough problems with burning. Bad joke, I know. lol

And yes, my thoughts and prayers go out the friends and family of Sprinkle. Very tragic story.
