The #83 team's practice speeds are bad...again. Pray for rain, people.
They didn't practice for that long, so have some faith. The rain washed away practice. Looks like it may wash Qualifying too. Is AJ in?
According too Jayski AJ is not locked in he missed it by one spot.I thought AJ was in front of Mayfield in the Owner's points but jayski has Mayfield locked in. So who knows who is locked in or not.
No people, do not pray for rain. Gosh. AJ is in 44th by 26 points. And he was 4th fastest of the go homers. He needs a shot to qualify. Obviously he deserves a chance after practice.
AJ is in... :)
BV looks like he is done.
AJ in BV out..
VIckers didnt make it. AJ did. What the hell! are they switching cars or something?
What's up with the #83? Can't believe two weeks in a row. What has changed that now the #83 can't make it in the race?
it is STILL a first year team...remember that. Everything is practice in 2007, especially since we will not make it in the top 35. True fans support the team, less criticizing and more support is needed from the fans.
Excuse me "gangsta" - are you trying to say AJ isnt capable of qualifying that well? Maybe he is just getting better!! Good job to the #84 team. Dont take anything away from them and how hard they work.
No way the 2 cars should be that different. Flat tracks used to be BV's strength and this year they have been awful. I am not sure if it is the COT or what. I am disgusted. Great job AJ and the #84 team!
Pretty sad!!! Most of the go or go homers have actually improved look at Blaney, Andretti, Waltrip and even AJ. The 83 team is just the opposite. Also sad when Rusty Wallace says things like Allmendinger has less experience on these tracks then Vickers and have beaten him in qualifying runs quite a few times.
AJ has done better at all the short tracks this year then BV. The real suprising qualifying run was last week at Charlotte. BV should have made the show based on his performance at 1.5mile speedways. Also you can't listen to anything Rusty says cuz he is an idiot and can't remember back to more then 2 weeks ago.

WOW! Are you serious?
Where did the statement about BV going full time in the Busch Series come from?? I haven't seen anything about it anywhere!! Good Luck this weekend AJ and the #84 team!!
OMG That is awesome!! as a former busch champion I am sure brian will rock in next year's nationwide series. at least I will get to see him in the race every week. Go BV.
Natalie I'm with you I have not seen anything about this statement on nascar or jayski websites at all.
We like BV because he is a professional driver. He should be held accountable both his successes and failures. Today, he was part of the equation that didn't make it into the field. I am a true fan, but as 83TRB put it last week, "This is a buisness, now run it like one!". (Not ver batum)
I wonder if they are going to have a red bull branded Nationwide team, or if Brian will be racing for a different sponsor/team. It would be cool to see Red Bull in all three series.
I know I am sipping on a cool Red Bull right now. Go Brian!! We believe!
sorry to hear BV is going to the nationwide series. I hope TRB brings in another hottie onto the team! GO TRB!! We believe!
BV's not going to Grand National.. why do you guys believe some random dude on a blog.
But I personally think BV should race a lot more Grand National races.
Honestly guys, I'm not suprised that BV missed the race. I'm getting used to BV disappointing me.
Great job AJ and the 84 crew. Atleast their hard work is showing.

This is a hoax. Vickers has more experience then most of the drivers in cup and when he is in the race he does great. He has given Toyota the most top ten’s this year.
Blaney is tied with BV the most top tens for toyota

Ashley, this would be a huge set back for Vickers if true. No driver wants to go backwards in their career.
Yeah, well no drivers wants to sit and watch on Sunday either.

Thanks blog administrator for removing all three of those blogs that were posted tonights.
OK Time to take your hats off for a second. It's now the 3rd anniversary of the Hendrick accident of course not to the day because that would be this coming Thursday however it is the October Martinsville race when we remember
John, Kimberly, Jennifer & Ricky Hendrick, Jeff Turner, Randy Dorton,Joe Jackson, Dick Tracy and Elizabeth Morrison. The Hendrick 10.
It's that time of year again (So Brian should get a bi this week for any crap talking about not qualifying)
and rememmber Brian's very good friend Ricky Hendrick who helped get Brian in a position where he could win his Busch Championship.
Although now long distanced from the Hendrick Team, I know Brian was very close with Ricky and Randy Dorton because of his racing career and his dads company CV Products.
Although under normal weeks we've come accustomed to praying for rain, us somewhat local yocals (S.Highpoint/T-ville) wouldnt dare pray for rain during the October trip to Martinsville for anyone.

Congratulations to AJ and 84 team, we know how hard you have been working and we are glad to see it paying off. Good luck on Sunday - we are hoping to see another solid finish.

I'm so disappointed for Brian and the entire 83 team. Good job to AJ for a great run!
If you knew anything Kyle, you'd know that The plane crash was three years ago Wednesday.
I don't know how any 'fan' of Brian's could not know that he lost his best friend on his birthday. Whats more is why you would bring it up at all on this site. Its like rubbing salt in an open wound. As if Brian didnt feel bad enought with having missed the past few races.
"If you knew anything Kyle, you'd know that The plane crash was three years ago Wednesday"
he made a mistake this board to me is a disgrace all you people ever do is b***** and complain about what is going wrong...you should be maybe supporting them and saying good job and good luck next week instead of saying that your used to Brian disappoiting you and that you can't believe AJ qualified and Brian didn't. If you keep talking crap about the drivers they will shut down the board and then you won't have anywhere to go so I suggest if you dont have anything nice to say dont say anything at all!!!!!!!!
