Club V: "On the Backstretch"
What better place to entertain your loyal, die-hard fans than “On the Backstretch” of Lowe’s Motor Speedway? Members of Club V, Brian Vickers Fan Club, got the full VIP treatment Friday night during the 3rd annual Brian Vickers Fan Club event. Almost 80 guests were on hand at the Red Bull Energy Station sitting high and mighty above Turn 3 taking in the sights and sounds that only a race fan could love. The featured event of the evening was of course meeting their favorite driver Brian, but his fans also got the added bonuses of guided pit tours and Busch Series race action from the unique – and invite only – view. We’re not talking a hot dog and burger joint - Energy Station guests were treated to high class catering like shrimp cocktail and crab cakes, all washed down with ice cold Red Bull. Wish you’d been there? You could be next year. Join Club V!

kyhilytI have to say I had a BLAST Friday night, what an experience! The view was great! Thanks Redbull for allowing us to enjoy that!
I was there also, what a night. I also go to meet Brian, and eat lots of good food. And of course, drink lots of Red Bull! It was a fun night, hope we can do it again next yeat. Thanks Team Red Bull for all you did!
It was a great night! I too want to thank RB for letting us in, it was waaay cool.
I was there also it was a blast and I enjoyed my Christmas present. I hope that I can enjoy it again next year. Thanks Mahria for the guided garage/ pit tour my dad is so jealous that I got to do that. That was the best day of my life this past weekend in Charlotte. Thanks Red Bull for allowing us to enjoy our event for the Energy Station it was a blast.
Anyone know where I could purchase the t-shirt Vickers is wearing in the picture?
those shirts are for their drivers and athletes only, I asked too! Guess we will have to make do with the TRB merch until we get our lap times up.
You can knock the selection of TRB merchandise all you want. Since buying the hoodie at Talladega, I have basically lived in it at work. I can't wear much NASCAR attire to work, since I'm in a Children's Hospital, but I can wear my hoodie and it strikes up conversations. One of my patients recently became a new BV fan. At Talladega, I took some pictures of him and got him to sign something for her, and she is loving it! She brags about it to everyone.
Good luck this weekend, Brian, AJ, and to both crews. We are all cheering for you!
WE BELIEVE!
I'm so jealous of all y'all who got to go! I'm gonna try my li'l heart out to get there next year! It sounded like WAY to much fun!
Good Luck this weekend Brian & AJ!
WE BELIEVE!!!
Kristin---I too LIVE in my TRB hoodie that I got at the Michigan flood! I don't know what I'd do without it! :)
83givzuwingz--My hoodie is probably one of my favorite pieces of clothing(NASCAR or not). I love the uniqueness of the TRB merchandise.

Okay, okay... my jealousy grows. I'm more determined than ever to be at next year's event. For now, I do own the hoodie, but living in Savannah, Ga. I haven't had a chance to wear it yet - the weather has been too warm. But, our cool weather is coming and I'll break it out the first chance I get. Go get 'em boys!
All I have heard is great things about the Club V event. I'm going to try my best to go next year. Fingers crossed!
Good Luck Brian, AJ and the entire TRB crews. We're all behind you!!
To matador, bull rider, racing bull, the bull spotter
I was wondering if you could give us an update on when AJ is going to be racing in the truck again. I'm sure that I am not the only fan wondering this.
Thanks
lovinbv83,
AJ isn't in the truck race this weekend. DW is putting Justin Labonte in the truck. Hopefully AJ will be back in next weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
On nascar.com's power rankings, AJ came in 25th this week due to his top 15 finish on Saturday.
Good Job AJ!
If only BV would have been in the race.
Hey David-I, too, am a fellow TRB fan/Savannah resident. (I actually live near Ft. Stewart, but I go to school at AASU.) If I ever see someone else in a Red Bull hoodie I'll know it's you! ;o)
Hey David, Mouse,
You should try living in Indiana! Hoodie weather is 9 months outta the year! 12 if you're me--I'm telling y'all I'm COLD-BLOODED! LOL
Good Luck Brian and AJ!!! Rock 'em @ M'ville!
WE BELIEVE!!!
Alright Mouse, I'll be on the look out for you. I wonder how many people I'll say "Mouse?" to before I actually get you. :-)
