Speed on Speed

Red Bull Racing Team driver Scott Speed sits shotgun beside host Dave Despain for a live appearance on tonight’s edition of “Wind Tunnel” at 9 p.m. ET on Speed (TV, that is).

Speed (the driver) is a new North Carolinian now that he has turned his attention to stock car racing, and viewers can see and hear his thoughts on the 2008 ARCA season with Eddie Sharp Racing, his long relationship with Red Bull and the prospects of being a NASCAR Sprint Cup driver someday.

First of all...I hope AJ is OK after his hit today in the race. That was a hard one! Then...what happened to his car at the start of the race? And....was Brian having trouble all day also? Glad they were both in the race! Waiting for Scott to come on TV right now.

Really appreciate you letting us know. I'm loving the interview with Scott. Makes me fall in love with him even more. You need to let him know that we want to see another Youtube video.

I cant believe AJ gets hit from behind from Hamlin on LAP 4!! Its not like Denny had any other cars around him to try avoid. So disappointed for AJ and his team. Keep up the good work guys and lets go get them next week.

I felt so bad for AJ - his best starting position and he doesnt even get a chance to show what he could do with it. Good thing is they did get to show how well the 84 team is coming along. They should be qualifying that well all the time very soon. Keep your chins up and on to Pheonix!! BTW - nice shirt on Scott :(

Denny is the most impatient person on the track.

at least 2 people have commented--1st and 5th. I don't think it bears commenting, besides I was taught if you can't say something nice then don't say anything and I can't say anything positive about that shirt.

Uhm, guys, it was announced during the race that AJ came across his radio and said Hamlin had nothing to do with that incident, and it was totally AJ's fault.

That shirt is so funny! I love that Scott has such a good sense of humor. Thats something seriously lacking in NASCAR. Most of the drivers are so cookie cutter - they just say what the sponsors want. Scott seems to march to his own beat.
