Asphalt Now, Snow Later
Red Bull athlete and freestyle skier Kristi Leskinen is mixing in a little NASCAR as she prepares to go for superpipe gold in January’s Winter X Games 12. She’ll hang out with Red Bull Racing Team this weekend at Phoenix. The Pennsylvania-bred Leskinen has helped establish women’s freeskiing as a mainstream action sport, but she’s extreme in everything she does. Named one of FHM’s “100 Hottest Women of 2005,” Leskinen recently spent a week skiing, bungee jumping and paragliding in New Zealand, golfing in Las Vegas, dirt biking in Phoenix and wakeboarding in Florida.
Race Note: Vickers earned the 22nd qualifying spot, but will start from the back of the field due to an engine change before the first practice session on Friday morning.

You know, I really love the extra tidbits y'all put in during the week but on the weekends you should concentrate on NASCAR racing. I don't care for Kristi Leskinen even if she is Red Bull related.
Wow, what a boring, one track mind you have if all you want is boring racing stats. How about you go to nascar.com and get those? This blog is meant for those of us with more than just on-track stuff on the brain.
I think its so cool that you guys have other Red Bull athletes come and watch Brian and AJ race. Do Brian and AJ ever get to go watch other sports?
The team meeting this week isn't gonna be that fun with AJ getting loose and taking out BV!
BV went from 7th off pit road to restarting 24th. The awesome ESPN commentators didn't mention why - anyone know why?
