Supermoto'd Out

KTM, an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, was kind enough to hook the team up with a few 560 SMR supermoto motorcycles, so three guys – we’ll use aliases of “Cucumber,” “Kylie-Wylie,” and “The Renegade” – thought they’d take them for a spin around Mooresville last week. A quick trip around Race City USA turned into a minor disaster. We won’t point fingers, but we will say that Guy #1 stalled his bike and couldn’t get the bike restarted. Guy #2 thought the bikes were “too powerful and scary” so he offered up his bike to Guy #1. Guy #2 ate hot dogs at the gas station while Guy #1 and Guy #3 rode off. Guy #1 stalled the borrowed bike and had to walk it back to the gas station - in full leather riding gear in the 90 degree heat. Guy #3 described him as “a puddle in his boots” by the time he got back to the gas station. Guy #3 had to go back to the shop and get a truck to come back and pick up the hot-dog eating gas station guys – and their bikes. What a trip!!

Good job testing everyone today! It looked like both teams had a decent pick up from the afternoon to night sessions. Keep up the hard work.

looks like guy #2 needs a helmet. funny, one is hermetically sealed in a suit, the other is chilling in the jeans. guess which one had the hot dogs? must have been running on vapors..

It's nice to see all the fun with both Red Bull teams running so well that the teams don't think they need to be working on there cars, I get having a good time and all that but maybe they should be concentrating on making better speedway cars not riding dirtbikes

I love the fact that some people don't think we work enough and should have no free time to ourselves. I guess 60+ hours a week isn't enough time put in to entertain them.

Nevermind those people trb guy. They are the same people who complain if they have to work one extra minute at their job, cuz it takes away time they could be on the internet in Mom's basement. You guys rock on.

trb guy,
entertain them?? who are you kidding, what at cup practice, I work 60+ a week to guy and look forward to getting entertained by the 83 car and Brian Vickers, but guess what it hasn't happened all but 4 times this year so it is a huge let down for us waiting till sunday to see our favorite driver to be entertained when they don't make the show, but it is nice to see J. Benson fall off the moon and into a COT car and make the show, wonder if Wyler Racing are racing motorbikes or working on ther program for 5 more COT races

Oh yeah and while you are at it go take some damn midol it taks the edge off my pms so damn it will do wonders for you! some trb guy -

Good for you! Its almost as frustrating to come here to the blog everyday and read more and more fans complaining about how BV , AJ, and all the guys on the teams need to put in more hard work. I'm sure you all do more than any of us could imagine, and you are probably ten times more frustrated than any of us are when either car doesn't make the race.

I know that there are highs and lows to every season, and this season isn't over yet, so hopefully this means the highs are still to come.

Dear anonymous,
At TRB we are here late again working on the Dover test cars. When the truck leaves for Darlington on Thursday morning and the Dover cars and spares are completed and ready to go, we will have a spare hour to play on our KTM's and do our best to scare Elvis in parts.
Regarding the speedway cars, we're completely rebuilding the Talladega cars for AJ and Brian as we are fully aware they are not quick enough yet.
If it was easy it wouldn't be half as much fun as it is when we're quick.

Team Red Bull dont let these comments get you down. Do your job and do the best you can. the 1st season for a brand new team has to be hard. no points, trouble qualifying. if you can get thru this season and know you did your best. things will get better. stay strong.crewmembers mom

Elvis was a stupid nickname but Renegade makes you sound like some chap wearing leather biker!
In the past week you've been scared on bikes and tipped over a boat so 'Renegade' doesn't really suit you!
P.S. Who is Woody? I only know one woody and he's a long way from Mooresville.....
