Lucky No. 13

AJ made Red Bull Racing proud yesterday by laying down the team's best qualifying effort of the year. He will start 13th in tonight's race under the lights in Richmond. The test in Iowa last Monday really helped the team find the speed and grip needed with the COT. AJ said he owed it to his crew and crew chief Ricky Viers who he described live on the SPEED Channel as "cool as the other side of the pillow." The #84 even sat on the pole for a while.

Tune in tonight at 7:30 PM EST to see the #84 on track. Right now it is raining in Richmond, so hopefully the clouds part and we are able to race tonight. If not, the race will be rescheduled for Sunday (time TBD).

Good luck AJ, to bad Vickers diodn't make the show again. Here in ready post from other Vickers fans it seems that you are satisified with so-so results. And again I say when when JBenson can come in and make the show the 83 team has some issues, and I get that the rules are messed up for qualifiing and what not but it is what it is and the 83 team is underperforming to this point, so eveyone that wants to jump my case let it be, I get all the excuses but WE and I say WE cause I'm on board with this deal till the end need some help somewhere. Ready for the comments.

Paul (still frustated)

Congratulations to AJ on making the race. Hopefully we will have both Red Bull Toyotas racing at Darlington.

Good luck tonight. We are all cheering for you.

I just have one question, how come David Green is working with HMS on their Car of Tomorrow? Wouldn't it be wise to keep him at Red Bull? Sorta like helping the enemy win. Don't you think?!?!

Paul, I would love to jump on your case, but after yesterday, I agree. There is no reason for not making that race yesterday. The 83 had all the benefit of draw and the car was obviously pretty good in practice. I try to stay positive because I believe those guys at TRB are working and doing all they can...I too am frustrated.

PS great job AJ, Rick and the entire 84 team, excellent work

Hey...everyone is frustrated, but one thing is for sure...Brian can drive the wheels off of anything, and Doug is one of the best in the biz. Once this team gels, they will be a weekly threat for the win. Let's all try to stay patient and optmistic here...the whole organization is trying as hard as they can. If they looked defeated, I would be upset, but as long as they are busting their asses, I'm proud to be a fan.

Get 'em next week boys.
