Bullish Artwork

Ok, so it's late. Friday morning actually. Today ('er Thursday) the racing gods weren't kind to Team Red Bull. Both Brian and AJ crashed out of each Duel under circumstances beyond their control. This happens in racing, so you accept it and move on to the next race. Simple. So we move on to another topic. Like Bull's balls. Prior to his race today, Brian made a visit to the Red Bull hospitality area, where he encountered a special Bull sculpture that commissioned artist Preston concocted from junkyard car and racing parts at his garage in Knoxville, TN. In the blog photo, Preston points out the "authenticity" of the Bull. As we like to say it at Team Red Bull, it's the details that count.

The artist should use some NASCAR parts as they won't be needed this weekend.

Don't pick on Robby Gordon he was just trying to get a sponsorship proposal to AJ.

He won't take no for an answer.

drmater, the Cup series is not at Talladega next week. They won't be at Talladega for a couple of months yet. Next week is Fontana, CA, just outside of Los Angeles.

I must admit I was a bit crushed when I saw what happened to Brian. I know the guys will rebound and be even stronger and more determined when they arrive in Fontana next week though.

A lot of people have tons of faith in all of you at Team Red Bull and know you will be kicking butt soon. Lots of luck to you guys for next week and the rest of the season.

On another note, I came here to leave some love and support for our TRB drivers and I'm a little disappointed to see where the comments have gone. Everyone's entitled to their comments, thoughts and whatever, sure, BUT there's also this little thing called respect. That's all I have to say about that.

You guys (TRB) still ROCK in my book! I know how disheartening it must be to pour your heart and soul into those cars for so many months and come to that end.

The thing we all have to remember is this...the cars looked great out there. They ran good. That's all that matters. Some things are out of your hands. You gave the boys good cars to drive, that's what matters.

Now, let's leave egos at the door, remember your mission, and burn up the track at Fontana!

At least AJ is getting some more seat time in the truck race. I know Red Bull is only sponsoring the truck, but racing at Daytona is racing at Daytona!
