Supersized Donut
According to statistics, the two most popular spectator motorsports in the USA are NASCAR (duh!) and Supercross. For those that don't know Supercross, it's basically Motocross crammed onto a stadium floor in front of sold-out crowds. Well, Saturday night Brian Vickers got his first taste of Supercross during a Red Bull appearance at Anaheim Stadium in SoCal. Brian had a full night of activity that included a long ride in traffic SoCal style; group interviews with LA Times and other local media; hanging out in hospitality with other Red Bull athletes like MotoGP World Champ Nicky Hayden, skateboarding phenom Ryan Scheckler and X-Games FMXer Tommy Clowers.
Then Brian headed to the stadium floor to do an interview with Speed TV's Erin Bates before his real work began. Brian told Erin: "Watching it on Speed is great, but when you see these guys jump these jumps, these double and triples, it's amazing."
After the interview, he climbed into the waiting No. 83 and bolted out onto the stadium's dirt floor and did donuts in front of the start gate for the 45,000 cheering fans. Then out he came, banged off a live interview for the crowd and then headed out to a waiting car to take him to his red-eye flight back home. All in day's work for a NASCAR driver.

UPDATE US ON MERCHANDISE (hats, shirts, etc.) PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!
Updates on the merchandise have been posted as responses to other blogs - they will not be available until Daytona at the Team Red Bull merchandise trailers.
SWEET!!!
Awesome!
If we do not get to be at the Daytona race, can we buy merchandise over the internet at that time? I want to support our 83 and 84!!!
Good luck finding them, I been searching everywhere. If you do find them somewhere, leave a comment in one of the blogs so I know where to get some merchandise as well.
I know! There's not even info on the team website.
The sunday hauler.com has Aj's and Brian's diecast cars and that is all the merchandise that I have foud so far.
Folks, merchandise will only be available at track for the first part of the year for a variety of reasons. Also the team website will launch in a week but merch won't be available online there at the beginning. Best bet is to keep an eye for TRB merch at nascar.com when it becomes available.
Geez people. Calm down about the merchandise. If you're not even going to be at the Daytona race, then what do you need the clothes for? To sit in your house and watch it on tv?
I will wear the clothes all the time, not only when the race is on! I want other people to see Team Red Bull merchandise and try the drink plus watch them race! Go Brian and AJ.
i would wear it to advertise and show people i support Brian and Aj.
I would wear it to show my support and to advertise Red Bull and show how big of a NASCAR fan I am
