Testing....and More Testing!

This week is a busy one for the Red Bull Racing road crews. The #83 and #84 teams have a 2 day test ahead of them before heading to Michigan on Thursday for the race weekend.

The team plane left this morning at 6:00 am to take everyone to Virginia International Raceway (VIR). AJ and BV are ready to test their road course cars in preparation for the first road race of the year at Infineon Raceway June 24. AJ has been looking forward to this race all season. He is most excited about being about to turn right again. He said that his experiences turning right so far on oval tracks hasn't been so great... because turning right on an oval means you are headed towards the wall!

After today's testing session, the plane will fly the guys from VIR to Milwaukee, where they will test the COT tomorrow in preparation for the New Hampshire race July 1. Then tomorrow evening it's off to Michigan to get some rest before the race weekend officially begins Friday morning.

Good luck guys - this is where all the hard work starts to pay off!

As a hard core BV fan let me say how much we appriciate that he drives for a team that is working so hard to succeed. It must be a hard year for TRB with all the work, but it has and will continue to pay off for the flagship Toyota team!

Wow! What a busy week for the boys. All their hard working is paying off slowly.

I'm so glad that Team Red Bull has given us this blog to keep us updated on the team. Thank you for all you do! It's really appreciative.

Have fun testing boys. Hopefully you guys learn some stuff for the Sonoma, Watkins Glenn, and New Hampshire.

Sign Kyle Busch!

I agree, sign Busch and make this a three car operation! Talk about some personalities...AJ, Sheriff and Rowdy...

We have to be able to walk before we can run. Three cars might be good for down the road, but thats several years away.

Personally, I like the line up the way it is!!

That's right, we don't need a Busch in the line up. AJ and Brian are the Best!!! It won't be long and TRB will be winning races!

Team Red Bull is fine! We don't need to add another driver to the lineup. The two they have hired are working great with each other. Why mess with that chemistry?

Please Please DO NOT hire Busch. The guys are busy enough they do not need to fix 1 or 2 cars of his everyweek because he is a cry baby. He would ruin the Red Bull name, look at him he just does not fit.

I agree that TRB is just fine with just Brian and AJ!

Wow busy week for the guys, but it will pay off in the long run! Thanks guys for keeping us up-to-date with the blog! We really appreciate it!!!

Keep up the good work guys!!!

WE BELIEVE!!!

I think TRB would think of running some Busch Races or Truck Races first before they hire someone else...they need to get the first two teams running full speed before they add someone else to the line up

GO TEAM RED BULL!!

It seems like it would make sense to start a Busch team next year with all of the old regular cars from this year. I know the cars are not exactly the same but it seems like it is an option. Just a thought.

I love this site and visit daily, but most of the people commenting probably work for TRB or have loved ones/family that does. It is very obvious as most of you are HYPERSENSITIVE! It's ok to give positive criticism and still support the 83 and 84...most of you poseurs probably don't even drink Red Bull anyway.

There are many of us on this site that are close to the drivers and their teams and because we are we understand the pressure they are under and how incredibly hard they work. There is absolutely nothing wrong with constructive criticism just as there is nothing wrong with showing positive support for all those trying so hard. Go TRB!!!

I'm betting that most of the people on this blog don't have any association with TRB except for being a fan of their drivers.

Yes, I have a son that works a TRB and I do drink Red Bull and love it. I do know how hard they work and the hours they put in, these guys work HARD. It is nice know what goes on behind closed doors.
