Still Truckin'

This afternoon AJ will again race the 00 Red Bull Tundra for Darrell Waltrip Motor-sports. He will be piloting the same truck that he drove to a 2nd place finish and led 7 laps with at Lowe's Motor Speedway a few weeks back. The crew fondly refers to this specific truck as "Nikki" and they have high expectations for her.
So far this season, AJ has 2 top-10 finishes and has started in the top-15 4 times. Truck qualifying starts at 11:15 am this morning. AJ rolls out 37th.

Tune into SPEED at 3:00 pm EST to see AJ race Nikki around MIS!

Micheal Waltrip's team is such a f'ing joke. First Waltrip hires Terry to drive his #55 car so they can have the past champ at Sonoma and now they hire PJ Jones for #00 car. Not to mention they had already previously bought the #32 teams owners points from last year and already depended on all of Jarrett's past champ provisionals. I hope his whole team DNQs at Sonoma for trying to BS his way into races. I wish Toyota would just drop his team.

Don't put too much importance on one fast practice lap. You want a fast lap average and half way through HH BV has the best average and AJ 23rd.

Brian's has the best average by over .03 of a second!

This stinks. I was really hoping that AJ, #00 crew, and "Nikki" would have a great day. Here's hoping for better results tomorrow. Keep your head up, AJ!

He was doing really well in the truck until the tire blew. He seems to be learning so much more every time he is on the track. Keep it up AJ!

He was running so good. What is going on out here today? Everyone is racing like they've never been out on the track. It's too early in the race for all this crap.

Hopefully the team can fix the car as good as it can be so they can race for points. Sucks this had to happen. Brian has had such a great car all weekend.
